We were invited to a small performance event at the local community center, so we went to watch.

There were different groups performing things like folk dance, aikido, and chorus. Most of the participants were older people, but everyone looked so lively and happy. The kids watched very closely and seemed to enjoy it too.

After the performances, we had lunch on a bench in front of the community center.
I had packed some takikomi rice from the day before, an apple, and a leftover tenkasu onigiri from breakfast.

Food always tastes great outside.
One of the songs sung by the chorus was “Hana (Flowers for Everyone’s Heart)”, and it was such a beautiful song.
