A Warm February Walk Under the Camellia Tree

Uncategorized

Today’s little walk.

The camellia tree near our home is in full bloom, and the fallen petals are so beautiful scattered on the ground. My daughter loves pink, so she was absolutely delighted, twirling and dancing under the tree.

It’s hard to believe it’s still February — the past few days have been so warm we didn’t even need jackets. These gentle, early-spring walks have been such a joy.

While I was doing the dishes earlier, my son brought me a book. I told him, “Just a moment,” and before I knew it, my daughter had picked it up and started reading it to him.

Moments like that make me realize how much she has grown into a big sister.

For snack today, we had some salted cashews — simple and just right for a warm afternoon.
